The Basics of Window Washing
It is hard to beat the feeling of walking into a clean, tidy home. For guests, it makes a good first impression. It is a great first impression for a guest. The carpets have been vacuumed, their floors have been mopped, their counters have shined, and there is a faint scent of cleaning products in our air. It's easier to maintain a clean place than to let it get dirty.
Today's focus is on window washing.
Experts recommend having your windows cleaned once a year. However, there are many ways to keep them sparkling bright throughout the year! These window washing tricks will make cleaning windows nearly effortless.
First, hire Albany Window Washing. Professional cleaning equipment doesn't necessarily have to be purchased. We can guarantee that we have the right tools.
- The Squeegee is one of the most useful tools for window washing. It is almost as enjoyable to use as it sounds! Multi-pane windows? Get one small enough that it fits in the pane.
- Natural Sea Sponge -- Often found in pineapples under the water, but also in home improvement stores.
- Lint free Rag -- You can use a cloth to baby your windows.
- Window cleaning solution - This easy window cleaning solution will do the trick. Add warm water to a cup of white vinegar and enough dish soap, such as Dawn or Palmolive, so that the solution sticks to your squeegee and doesn't leave streaks. It should take only a couple of squirts to do the trick.
After you've got your cleaning kit, wait for the right time. Your windows should not be in direct sunlight. You should choose a time when the sun shines elsewhere, or it is cloudy. To catch any drips, remove the screens from your windows and place a towel beneath them.
Use the window cleaner sponge to clean the windows. A razor blade scraper can be used to remove more stubborn grime. Just make sure you don't scrape your fingers!
While we may have started our business from scratch, it's not the best way to squeegee your windows. You want to get maximum results with minimal mess. Always squeegee the windows from top-to-bottom. Wipe off any extra solution with a lint-free cloth.
Trouble-Free Windows. Clear View.
Always make sure you have a working squeegee or sponge before using it. Use newspaper or paper towels only if you need a quick tool for cleaning. A coffee filter is a good alternative. It is possible to reduce dirt buildup by hanging the screens outside.
Your windows are not like your PC's operating system. They should work flawlessly and will never require an upgrade. You'll be able to see the difference in how beautiful your windows look.
